Terms & Conditions of Engagement:
1. Scope of Service: The engagement is strictly limited to the duration of the paid consultation (15/30/45 mins). This Digital Vakalatnama does NOT authorize the Advocate to appear in physical court unless a separate physical Vakalatnama is signed and sent via post.
2. Digital Consent (IT Act, 2000): The Client acknowledges that clicking the "Terms of Service" checkbox constitutes a valid electronic signature under Section 5 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and holds the same legal validity as a wet-ink signature.
3. Non-Refundable Fee: The consultation fee is for the Advocate's time. Once the time slot is booked and confirmed, the fee is non-refundable, even if the advice provided does not result in a favorable outcome for the Client.
4. Confidentiality: All information shared during the consultation is protected under Attorney-Client Privilege (Section 126 of Indian Evidence Act) and will strictly be kept confidential.
